Performance : how does ScyllaDB compare with HBase ?

Just to know if you have some benchmarks about ScyllaDB vs HBase on the read/write performance side ?

If you have no benchmarks, do you think conceptually that ScyllaDB will outperforms HBase on most workloads ?

Advantages I see about ScyllaDB :
- no JVM / no JVM garbadge collector
- written in C++, and low level highly optimized
- self-configuration for performance
- not depending on HDFS that add latencies

The points below are correct, especially not relying on HDFS which is not designed for database workloads.
