SD901108.15 Duty Log Lt. Nathan Hart CMO USS Scylax

Nathan rubbed his tired eyes with one hand as the other worked with the Daedelus' Class Explorer's logs about the weapon that they carried. In front of him Nathan had all manner of files pulled up on various different PADDs spread across his desk. Some held the work roster that Nathan had created, a schedule that kept heightened personnel in sickbay 24 hours a day where typically only one doctor would be pulling emergency duty. He was determined to keep the Sickbay staffed at all times. The away team still hadn't been able to communicate with the Scylax, and Nathan was worried about his fellow crew members. Graves was there, a very highly respected doctor and surgeon, but what if something happened to Graves? Currently the Scylax would never know.

 

Nathan sighed as he suddenly wanted a hard drink, but instead picked up one of the closer PADDs. It was the ships layout, with markings as to the best routes of high profile areas via Jefferies Tubes.

 

The problem was on the next PADD he pulled up, the PADD containing the corrupted and incomplete data on the Metagenic Weapon, the virus meant to be directly released into the atmosphere of a planet, concentrated enough to infect an entire society and then die out within a matter of weeks. If they got the stuff on board and it was released, the only thing they could do was eject the contaminated air into space, but many could still possibly die and death was unacceptable.... He'd have to find a better way.
