Sammie and I dove into the bathroom remodel today - taking down stuff from the walls, TSPing all the walls, taking out a toilet and sink, and all that happy stuff. Sammie also arranged for a professional drywaller to repair the walls (the first patches went in today). Unfortunately, to facilitate the drywall repair (being provided at little cost to the club) we had to take the toilet out of the men's side and the sink out of the women's. So, we have one complete bathroom spread out over two rooms. Sorry for the incnvenience! We expect to have one side complete and ready to use within a week, so it IS temporary.

On another note, Jesse, who collects our outside trash for the city, asked us to PLEASE not put construction trash in the outside cans. It is too heavy and the bags rip, so he ends up having to sort through it all by hand and separate it out into several bags. Instead, he asks us to place constuction material, including the tubs of wall patch, pieces of metal rail, wood, broken ceiling tiles, etc next to the trash can near the outside room, and he will remove it for us. Messy, but I watched the poor guy sorting the trash today, and that was WAY WAY worse!

Finally, we had 3 sets of people come by and ask about the range during the afternoon today. It might be a good idea to put some information about our programs in the outside display case, as well our web address printed in BIG, red letters.

I think Sammie is hoping to paint sometime this weekend. She'll let you know when in case you have time to help out.
