Energy Challenge

The Office of Sustainability and the Housing Office partner to hold the 3rd Annual Energy Challenge this quarter. On-campus residents are competing throughout the Winter quarter to reduce their building's energy consumption. Residents in the building that reduces its energy use the most compared to its historical average will be the winners! The competition is really heating up as residents try to beat last year's savings.

Michael Meyer, Ph. D., Philosophy Department

Professor Michael Meyer, Ph. D., of the Philosophy Department has been passionate about environmental issues since high school. As the creator of the first environmental ethics class at SCU, Professor Meyer has pursued his passion by educating students about sustainable thinking through an ethical lens.
