FAI brings "Hunger Games" to SCU

The Food and Agribusiness Institute (FAI) is raising awareness of global hunger issues. FAI brought its own version of the Hunger Games to SCU last spring to engage students, faculty, and staff with issues of hunger and malnutrition. Chris Bacon: food justice research in Nicaragua

Assistant Professor Chris Bacon of the ESS department conducts research on sustainable food systems and food justice in Nicaragua. Read about how he is working to combat food insecurity and issues of food injustice and hear his advice for creating a more sustainable global food system, which is a critical part of a more ecologically, environmentally, and socially just world.
