SCU collaborates with other campuses to advance sustainability

Students and staff from the Office of Sustainability and Campus Recreation attended and presented at the annual Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE) conference last month. After three full days of workshops, sessions, guest lecturers, and keynote speakers, the SCU representatives were excited to return to campus, inspired with many new project ideas. Read more >>

Contemplative leadership in the Business School

Now in his sixth year at Santa Clara, and his fourth as a lecturer in the business school, Bill facilitates a program called Contemplative Leadership and Sustainability Program (CLASP) for students in the business school interested in exploring sustainability. “Sustainability is included in our mission to educate students,” Bill explains, “And sustainability is about justice in that it implies ‘right relationships’ in our decision making.” Read more >>
