For a low end device like Galaxy Express 3, custom ROMS, tweaks and anything that can unleash further potential of such devices is not less then the cream over a cake. Since these devices have a very limited capability of performing any tasks, modifying these can boost up the performance and battery life by a huge leap. The Galaxy Express 3 luckily can be rooted easily.
I followed the instructions here exactly but got stuck at the Super SUMe part. Firstly, when KingRoot was done it did NOT restart on its own. (Not sure if that is pertinent to the next part.) Secondly, when I attempt to open Super SUMe it prompts me that if KingRoot is still in app drawer upon completion to go ahead and uninstall it from the app drawer. As soon as I hit the start button in Super SUMe the app shuts down on its own. Do you happen to have any recommendations for how to proceed?
Nevermind, I figured it out. Before I found this thread, I tried installing kingroot. It was a failed attempt, but it left some files over after I deleted the app. I plugged the phone into my computer and deleted all of the kingroot files left over, and retried the above method. It worked! Thanks!
