Test Analyst – Core Clinical Systems
Position Description
The Test Analyst will be responsible for development and execution of all testing activities in support of Core Clinical applications (Meditech and 3M Coding & Reimbursement). This position will work as part of a core project team to ensure that solutions are delivered within budget, on time and with high quality.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Test Analyst will oversee all aspects of application functional testing activities for theMeditech Abstracting module and functionality as well as 3M’s Coding & Reimbursement system. This includes testing of interfaces between Meditech and 3M, and the subsequent transactions to Patient Accounting system. They will be responsible for working closely with business analysis and other testing team resources to understand business requirements and derive test plans as well as test cases for a given project/solution. The successful candidate must have experience with acute care coding.
· Develop all test plans with a Risk Based Methodology and ensure the test plan has been agreed upon by all stakeholders.
· Lead the development of a test case, test data, traceability matrix, and metrics to ensure all testing requirements are met and documented. Communicate results to IT and key stakeholders. Track and verify any required corrections and ensures completion.
· Perform all test execution and defect management activities for the full lifecycle of the project. Testing lifecycle phases will include but are not limited to Integration testing, System testing, End to End testing and Regression testing.
· Provide functionality and/or technical expertise in resolving inquiries from Client Support Services (CSS), as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:
· Minimum 2 years acute care coding experience
· Must be proficient in written, verbal, and presentation skills
· Experience with software testing tools, processes and techniques a HUGE plus
