We recently became aware that the new conference call service we are using incurs a charge to the user. The applicable charge is the rate per minute that your individual or organization’s carrier charges for long distance calls. This charge does not apply to those who dial in with a cell phone and are on a nationwide free long-distance plan. Those who do not have this option can connect to the call through VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) at no charge.

1. Download the software.
2. Run the file.
3. If you are asked to register, please fill in the required information.
4. If you are asked to enter a webinar ID, enter: 236-313-226.
5. A control panel will appear on the right-hand side of your computer screen. Be sure to select the ‘Use Mic & Speakers’ option otherwise the other callers WILL NOT be able to hear you when you speak.
6. It may be helpful to read through the attached GoToMeeting Attendee Guide for more information on the best equipment to use for connecting through VoIP (the VoIP Best Practices Section).
While we would like to continue to use Leonardo Academy’s toll-free conference line for these calls, the volume of callers for most of the subcommittees will exceed our limit. Thanks in advance for your patience and understanding as we transition to this new system.
