Hello everyone –
Today’s Reference Library & Information subcommittee call was cancelled due to scheduling conflicts. We have rescheduled for next Monday, August 31st at our normal time. Please see the email I sent out earlier that contains the conference line access information and updated agenda.
Those of us who made the call today discussed the need to house core subcommittee documents in a centralized location to optimize accessibility. We discussed the possibility of creating a ‘Core Guidance Documents’ page on the Reference Library site, where we would post such documents as the Glossary of Terms, any other glossaries/definitions, the Wiki Tutorial, Mission & Principles Sustainability Principles Document, Needs Assessment Executive Summary, etc. The attached document lays out the proposed structure in greater detail.
PLEASE REVIEW this document and be ready to provide feedback on next Monday’s call. Thanks in advance for your cooperation.
Also, we will begin developing work plans for the Reference Library & Info working groups during the next call. If you are interested in contributing your talents to the Inputs Working Group or the Side-by-Side Comparison Working Group (or both), please contact me by Friday, August 28.
