Hello everyone.
The notes from Monday’s call have been posted to the Reference Library and Information subcommittee discussion group: http://groups.google.com/group/scs-001reference_information/files. Anyone who was not able to participate on the call is encouraged to read through the notes. Thanks.
Those of you who have not yet become familiar with the previous Task Force work are encouraged to visit the project Wiki (http://sites.google.com/site/sustainableagstandards/). Also of particular importance to the Reference Library and Information Subcommittee is the Sustainable Agriculture Standard Reference Library (http://sites.google.com/site/sustainableagresourcelibrary/). We will be going through a tutorial on the use of the library during Monday’s call; in the meantime, feel free to browse through the library to gain a sense of the types of documents that have been posted to date.
As discussed during the call, please also review the Side-by-Side Comparison Database (http://sites.google.com/site/sustainableagresourcelibrary/Home/RefDocTF_Side-bySideComparisonDB_Masterv3.xls?attredirects=0) and the Glossary of Terms (http://sites.google.com/site/sustainableagresourcelibrary/Home/GlossaryofSustAgterms_comparison.xls?attredirects=0) – both of which are working documents.
Lastly, we are still working on the Wiki restructure and will let you know when this has been completed, at which time it will be available for the subcommittees to make use of as needed.
