Easter Church
Good Friday was the day,
Jesus had to pay,
the ultimate price,
to save everything nice.
Yes, Christ gave his life.
To take away our strife.
Free followers from sin,
gift the human race a win,
Only stay on our lords right track.
Past evils , take care not to look back.
it is an open road
tread carefully
no falling through the cracks.
The Romans nailed him to the cross
to show the Jews who was boss,
his people careered were lost,
cheered and jeered that covered cost.
But he was not beaten
Mastering prayer protected, No! defeating.
Myrrh preserved and he rose from their cheating.
