I hope you could help me (and Reaktor) a little. We are organizing the first ever Coding World Championships -- Hello World Open -- together with Supercell (gaming company that makes e.g. Clash of Clans).

We are pretty well covering Europe and USA, but Asia is more difficult to reach. China especially, since you have own social networks and we are not familiar with those.

Could you post in your networks information about Hello World Open (HWO)? The web-site is https://helloworldopen.com

The registration for the competition ends at the end of this week and the coding takes place April 15-29. Qualifying rounds are in early May and finals in Helsinki June 5th.

HWO in brief:

- form a team and program artificial intelligence bot (several languages available from C to Haskell)

- race against others on virtual tracks

- regional winners meet in Finland for finals and the winner will receive money prize as well as world-wide recognition as the best programmer

If you ever had a dream to beat Japan (..or India .. or USA) here is your best chance to do it :-)
