Title: Salesforce Business Analyst

Location: Auburn Hills, MI

Job description:

• The Salesforce Business Analyst will work with business to understand the business need for the customer’s Salesforce platform, detail into the requirement document & work with the development team for the delivery to business

 

Responsibilities:

• Serve as Business analyst / Project manager for Salesforce projects
• Strong understanding of Salesforce Declarative Programming and Administration (develop code, custom objects, Visual Force pages, Apex, reports, workflows and assignment rules)
• Serve as the subject matter expert for solution architecture that will include configuration, development, integration and customization of complex environments
• Design and develop solutions primarily on the Salesforce platform using Apex programming language and Visual Force, Lightning, formulae and complimentary scripting tools such as ANT
• Perform unit testing and defect fixes
• Liaise with internal clients and users to understand their business needs in developing solutions through Salesforce
• Requirement gathering and understanding for prioritized changes of enterprise applications.
• Post launch production support activities.
• Status reporting to stakeholders
• Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review.

 

Requirements:

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.
• Proven hands-on Software Development experience
• 4+ years’ of experience working with Salesforce
• Experience with several real-world client Force.com deliveries
• Salesforce Certification. One or more Salesforce certifications demonstrating current knowledge as a developer
• Experience in integration of Salesforce with other enterprise systems is desired.
• Proven working experience in at least one object-oriented programming language such as Java
• Experience in of SQL and understanding of relational databases
• Proficient in writing requirements
• Excellent problem solving capabilities
• Demonstrates calm under pressure, is a proactive contributor with an eagerness to learn
• Experience with test-driven development
• Working as part of both Waterfall and Agile delivery teams
• SDLC deployment management
• Familiarity with continuous integration, DevOps.
• Familiarity with Agile software development methodology.
• Owner at least one these certifications: ADM201, ADM211 (Adv. Admin) certification, Sales Cloud / Service Cloud Certification --- (Optional)
