Agile contract file (DOC/PDF/etc)

I am a student of Software Engineering at UDESC College.

I am writing my thesis about Agile Contracts (as Scrum, XP). I think that somenone use agile methods on a project of your company.

I'm trying to compare the various types of hiring agile to create my technique.

For my research. Do you can send to me a sample/template of a Agile contract file (DOC/PDF/etc)?

Hi Christian,

It has become rather popular to do a thesis to a subject related to agile.

(I receive a similar question every 2 to 3 weeks)

For me, your question is very unclear.
Are you talking about
- contracts for agile projects?

- contracts to hire agile people?

- other kind of contracts?

I hope you are aware: that the agile manifesto says "Customer collaboration over contract negotiation"
This also means that some companies don't even have templates for contracts, as we collaborate with our clients
For example; when a contract is needed, I create it together with my client, and so all my contracts look totally different.

and lately, most of the time I don't even have a formal contract, we have a mutual agreement over e-mail.

(depending on who you talk to, this is contract or not)

Hi Christian,

There is a lot to say regarding contracts and I join myself with Yve's input adding some other perspective like Internal contracts, external contracts, outsourcing....

They are several types of contracts that have been highlighted by Alistair Cockburn and Jeff Sutherland: you can find some translation in French and German on my slideshare.

Now all this do not face cultural aspects of contract relations: as ex., in France contracts are mostly driven in a Time and Fees manner, in UK you will find SLAs and SOWs, etc...

and pure agile orthodox are preferring the no-contract approach.

To increase the complexity of my answer I will give you a scrumish answer: do what makes sense and what will serve both team performance and product delivery quality.
