Hi,

i'm trying to use anchors within tabs (such as view port container tabs and page tabs).

The tabbed pages are working fine for me.

But if im trying to use those with the anchors im getting always to the first tabbed page and not to the correct tabbed-page section with the anchor in it.

Unfortunately, I haven’t found any workaround yet.

Could you please give me a advice or a solution?

Any responds are welcome.

I found only one blogpost the help center without any solution in there:

Best Regards,Yakup

Hey Yakup,

sorry for the late response.
Is this problem still around? If yes I would need more information:

What tab macro are you using?
Which theme in Viewport are you using?

I assume this will require some JS coding within the theme to make this possible.
On a click on the anchor link you would need to look up in the DOM if the heading is in a tab macro, and if this is the case you would need to trigger the tab-macro logic to switch to the right tab.
This depends heavily on the macro you are using and how this is working.

I hope this is helping.

Best Regards,
Steffen

Hi Steffen,

i attached now the page layout/structure for you to get more information.

Unfortunately i cant provide more information because of security guidelines within our company.

Simple problem description:

When i click on the anchor link i dont get forwaded to the second tab (where the anchor has been placed).
The theme doesnt matter, because for each themes it is the same behaviour.
And it doesnt work for viewport mode as well as confluence mode.

Best regards, Yakup
