Here comes batch number 1! I'm excited to see what ideas we come up with. Thanks for any help you can give.

D&C 1:30, The only true and living church

Is there something about “true”? (This is the only passage about “truth” this year.)

Is there something about “true church?” I keep thinking of the phrase “i know this church is true.”

Is there something we could do with a “living church?” I think of Frankenstein "It's alive!" but that's not too respectful.

D&C 19:16–19, The Savior suffered for our sins so we could repent

What's your favorite church video which addresses Christ suffering for us?

D&C 21:4–6, As we receive the prophet’s word in patience and faith, God will disperse the powers of darkness

Something about “powers of darkness”? Something that uses the word “disperse”? Or even something about "patience" in general?

The ultimate offering was that offered by the Savior Himself in giving His very life. It causes each of us to wonder, How many drops of blood were shed for me? I witness that Jesus is the Christ, the holy Son of God, the healer of our souls, our Savior and Redeemer of mankind.

This is what I visualize when I read this verse:

This is so great. Thank you very much! I hadn't connected the Red Sea with that verse.

D&C 1:30  In class we focused on the church being "alive: and what that means.  I like your idea about Frankenstein and was thinking along those same lines. I don't think it's disrespectful--it's a play on words to help them remember that idea.
Here's a compilation clip of  "It's alive!"  from youtube.  The Addams Family one was especially good.

I also love the one about Moses parting the Red Sea--I hadn't thought of that kind of "disperse"  for D&C 21 but it fits perfectly.  Good going Stone family!

For D&C 19:16-19 what about something that shows a dog protecting a person ( so they don't have to suffer as He did)   Can you tell I'm a dog lover?
Here's a compilation clip that had some good examples:
