Mwiki user rights for Editor

This may be a silly question but I cant find answer with a lot of googling.

The transcriber is just a basic Mwiki user with normal user rights.

But what rights do we give the Editors? We dont really want them having Admin rights to MediaWiki but it seems thats whats required?

Is there any documentation on what rights an Editor needs?
