no, this is probably not easy to do in scripting, which is not made for
entries of larger text.
I recommend using qualtrics or simple html files, and adding event
handlers for the textfields, which can trigger functions to save
timestamps for the entered keys. Shouldn't be too difficult. We have
just done something similar in qualtrics where we monitor and record
timestamped keystrokes while an embedded youtube video is played.
