Hello Thomas and everyone else,

I'm working towards getting an IAT running online. Given that I have no research funds, it appears that ScriptingRT is the best approach for the job. However, I have absolutely no coding/web experience, so I'm starting from scratch. In terms of resources, I'm aware of the manual and the examples posted online. I'm hoping that someone might have or know someone who has developed an IAT using SRT and would be willing to share it so that I could use it as a starting point. Does anyone have any leads on an IAT developed with SRT?

And a big Thank You to Thomas et al. for developing ScriptingRT.

Best,

David de Jong

David,

I agree scriptingrt would be the best for the job, but (and I hate to
say that), with no coding/web experiences, you might be better of
starting from something that is already working. have a look at this
post, and check out the ressources it leads to:

http://reactiontimes.wordpress.com/2013/05/30/iat-for-qualtrics-winter-mason-style/

I know that Tyler Burleigh wanted to have a look at this as well, and I
also recommended this to a colleague in Oslo whom I will assist in the
next weeks to get this running. So this might be the better solution in
the end

we had an iat running in scriptingrt, but it was in an earlier version,
and it also lacked certain counterbalancing capabilities

best,
thomas

Hi Thomas,

I'm aware of Winter's WebIAT; unfortunately, it's not modifiable. I need a single category IAT, with user-generated inputs. I have a colleague who might be able to help with some of this.

Best,

David

Thomas,

Is this older version of the IAT available somewhere for modification, or is it best to start from scratch?

Thank you!

it is better to start from scratch, because the syntax of item and frame was quite different then
