So ... news about this has been out for a while but there's like Zero discussion of it here.

ScriptCraft is two things in one:
1) An education tool.
I don't think there's a lot of this going on right now with ScriptCraftJS. But after the Mojang announcements there are already kids diving into this like never happened with ScriptCraftJS.
2) A development tool.
Frankly we haven't seen much uptake on this side either with ScriptCraftJS.
Is there still value for ScriptCraftJS as a development tool, until or after the Bedrock JS API gets stable?

What does JS in official Minecraft product mean for ScriptCraftJS?
Is the goal of ScriptCraftJS to be a "thing" itself? Or now that an official resource is available, is this project now obsolete?
What are thoughts on the Bedrock API making its way to Java edition, and competing with the Bukkit API?
Will the Spigot team see continued value in maintaining an implementation that competes with the core?
Should this project somehow embrace the whole new paradigm?
Time for someone to write a new book based on the beta API? Too soon? Any value?

Lots to ponder.
Thoughts?

This is getting quite a bit of steam with MakeCode.  There are lessons / tutorials at...

It uses 'block' or JavaScript for coding.
