After running for a couple weeks, and seeing what I assume is the normal ebb and flow of herbivore species rising and occasionally being hunted down, then the carnivores that hunted them dying out and so on, I finally quite looking for a few days and just let it run.

Now, there are majority carnivores, most of the time there are just below 800 agents int he world.

The carnivores are all stationary, and mostly in clusters, with long chains of carnivores connected the clusters.
There are herbivores that are all mobile, slowly moving in seemingly random patterns around the world.
The carnivores are using white shouts to communicate with each other while the herbivores are using green shouts, and less often.

Many of the carnivores are several thousand generations old, but the average age for herbivores is about 50-100 generations.

Most strangely, none of the agents of any type has it's attacking prong extended at any time.
The only way I can imagine that the carnivores are surviving without moving is that someone must be using the feeding appendage.

The only movement you can see in the carnivores is very small slight occasional rotation.

The behavior is very strange, the network of carnivores makes you think of a city with roads, or maybe a brain with neurons. Whatever they are doing, it s very successful for everyone. This is about 10 times the agents I ever saw before they started this behavior.

Has anyone else seen anything like this?
Does anyone have any ideas what's going on?
