to Scriblio
Hello, everyone.

I'm helping a communitary theater's Documentation Center in my town
put up an OPAC, so I started looking for software to do it. My first
decision was to try Scriblio, then Koha, then who knows?

So here it is:
I installed XAMPP Lite; WordPress 2.9.1; bSuite 4.0.7; Scriblio 2.7 +
Atahualpa 3.4.5 theme.
All of this in my pendrive. I'm working on a Windows Vista computer.

I'm having a really hard time trying to figure out how to make it work
properly, so I list my current issues with it:

1) Categories: it doesn't matter if I add the catalog record on the
category I want, it will eventually get back to "Catalog", the default
category for new catalog records. If I manage to get it right (and
only via the Quick Edit) and need to re-open the record, it will get
categorised again in "Catalog". Does anyone have an idea of why this
is happening?

2) Catalog record image: I uploaded and attached pictures to certain
catalog records in hope they would show up on the viewing page, but
no, it doesn't work. I'm wondering what I have done wrong, since the
"Image" field in the cataloguing mode is blank.

3) Catalog itens count: Wordpress states, in the viewing mode, that I
have 21 catalog records (1 in Catalog [the default category], 1 in
Dramatic texts, and 19 in Uncategorized), even though I have only
_TWO_ items in catalog. It seems that everytime I open a record to
edit it, it adds one more to the count.

4) The starting page that wasn't: my Home link links to my last
catalog record (informations + comment section; it IS the post page),
and not to that good old list of past entries in reverse chronological
order (it is a blog, afterall). I guess this isn't right, or at least
it wasn't my intention. I would like my "Home" to be as generic as
possible. The post that keeps showing up on "Home" is NOT marked as
"Sticky". The Browse page is also blank.

5) The Facets identification: is there any list that relates the
posting fields (such as Primary title; Additional titles; Attribution;
Creator) with the right-sided tag fields (like cy; cm; sy; sm -- the
otheres are understandable, like place, person, time)?

It seems WordPress is being buggy for me: while I was writing this e-
mail and retesting the stuff I'm commenting here, some new stuff
showed up that wasn't working before. I have already tried
reinstalling everything, but, meh. I wanted it to work properly, as I
read people Are using it and enjoying very much.

Any tips, comments or help is very much appreciated!!

Thank you for your attention.
