Quotation marks?

What am I missing? Apparently I cannot use quotation marks in
Scribe. I also cannot use the comma. For the quotation mark, it just
gives me a couple of spaces, for a comma, I get a somewhat odd looking
M. This key works fine in Word, email, everything else.
Does anyone know what could be causing this?

Thanks! (Oh, and I am brand new to Scribe, but this can't be specific
to my computer, since I'm not having this problem elsewhere, right?)

I have the same problem with the same characters. Totally different
computer. I hope someone can help.
I prefer Scribe over Zotero. It is more portable.

Are you both using scribe 3.5? I noticed this as well when I downloaded
the new version of scribe.

ok, it must be a pc problem--i'll check it out today. elena

Ok, the fixed version of Scribe 3.5 for windows is now available:

The quotes issue should be fixed, and the dialogue for the date
settings should no longer come up on open. Various other windows
issues may be fixed as well--let me know if you have any more problems.
