Hi
Do I need a specific extension to integrate iPaper into my Mediawiki
or if I can show flash movies will this suffice? Also, I understand to
use iPaper documents must be uploaded to Amazon. Is there any future
developments that would allow us to keep documents on our own platform
(e.g. in Drupal) and use ipaper to display them (perhaps a premium
version)?
Thanks
Rich

Hi Rich, For embedding like this, iPaper works just like YouTube. You can't store YouTube videos on your own servers, but you can embed them in your site. I don't think we've actually tried embedding on a Mediawiki, but if a YouTube video works, iPaper should work too.
Best, Jared

Nothing stops you from keeping the documents stored on your own server -- iPaper is like a convient copy of the document, a method of displaying it within the browser. It dosen't actualy convert the file itself .. but a copy of the file.
I personaly delete the file after it's uploaded, since the Amazon servers are way more stable than mine are - but thats personal preference.
