golly, the months are flying by, but  April is Reenactment Month, so let's peer into Harun Farocki's alternate universe depicted in HOW TO LIVE IN THE GERMAN FEDERAL REPULIC... comprised of several instructional & training 'performances' this doc attempts to get at "truth" via the utterly fake.  can you be too prepared?

if we have enough juice, i'd love to take a stab at watching Jill Godmillow's 30 min homage to Farocki, whereby she reconstructs an earlier, even drier film of his.  it is illuminating & it was my introduction to his work, but we can play it loose & see where the night takes us.
