Using Screebl to make sure phone is not active when in my pocket by using the proximity sensor section.
I use Smart security settings, specifically trusted bluetooth.
When I turn on phone after being in my pocket I always have to enter the PIN. Is there a way to get Screebl to recognise the smart lock settings, and not prompt for my PIN?

Check in Play Store for an app called Delayed Lock.  It does what you described and plays nice with Screebl.

Thanks for that.
I have just started experimenting with Gravity Screen On/Off which seems to do what I need within one app
