Samsung IR Blaster (Infrared Remote) not working

For long time I have been wanting to use the Infrared Remote of my Samsung S6 but it just did not work. Today, it started to work after I accidentally disabled the Proximity Sensor of ScreenBL Pro. What's up with that? Is ScreenBL Pro using IR of my phone?
