Vzw galaxy s4 screebl doesn't detect phone is in the keep screen on zone

Using the latest paid version of this app.
After a while of running screebl no longer detects it's in the orientation zone. If I go into settings, the triangle in the slider window indeed shows it's in the zone.
For now i've reverted back to 2.xx, but it would be nice to make use of this app, especially after having paid for it.
Suggestions?

Sorry that you're having trouble! My primary phone is the VZ galaxy s4 and I don't see this behavior, and haven't seen regular reports of it on the s4.
What other apps are you using that run in the background and use sensors?

Nothing else that uses sensors. The s4 is running android 4.3 (stock) MK2 - newest 4.3 ota, rooted.
Is there a debug mode that can be enabled, or some way of logging screebl's events?
