Hi All,

This is where we talk about UX and UI Design!

I've attached a wire-frame of a UI Layout I'm working on for the Android Client.  Currently it only reads from OSC, however, I should have it reading from a draft spec SML file by the end of tomorrow.  I'm using openFrameworks and compiling for Android which means that the Android Client will run on OS X(as the screenshot shows)/Windows/Linux/iOS if we release the binary built for those platforms.  So in a sense we could have a cross-platform client that all looks and works the same. (which would be amazing).  I'm heading out and into the city the rest of today.  Please give me any feedback on this wire-frame. I'm thinking I should push the two decks apart and allow more space in the center block to scroll TTM and the Scratch Wave Form.  Or possibly if in Dojo mode, duplicate the turntables (so have 4 on screen) and have SML playback on top (with playback controls) and Live on the bottom. Or we could sweep two Position on each Turntable one the Reference File and the other the Live Feed.  I'm doing all of the math based upon the Window dimensions so it should all scale nicely from one device to another. Thoughts? Anyone wanna make pretty Vectors and Fancy Icons so I don't have to?

Also how are we gonna go about labeling this with respects to who's logos are we gonna slap on the Splash Screen?  As I am not a member of either of F.A.T or Skrat.ch (like I just kinda showed up and started working on this during ArtHackDay), for now I'm going to list all of the Organization that are involved?  So can people who have the following send me the Logos as vectors:  F.A.T., Skrat.ch, and ScratchML?

Thanks,

Dan
