Triangle NC Math Trail Tuesdays: photography field trips in the Spring!

It's a photography group! It's an "all city" graffiti collective! It's a math club!
Starting on January 25th with a Cary downtown adventure, the Tuesday morning (10am) Natural Math Club will hold open weekly field trips around the Triangle. We will gather at an interesting place, photograph and discuss math found around, talk with interesting locals, make removable math street art, and upload our pictures and comments for the world to see. The goals are to actively explore local landmarks, interact with local communities and businesses, move around, and find mathematics everywhere. This activity is free and open to people of all ages. It is multi-disciplinary, including social studies, visual arts, sports and mathematics. If you participated in Cary Homeschool photography meetings, this will be somewhat similar, with added group activity suggestions and group photo pool on Flickr.
