Hi all, and I wanted to ask one little detail.

When I highlight a layer, focusing on a certain tool (numbers etc) then if I switch to another layer, I see the same section with a certain tool. If I switch not to another layer, but to another version, then the selection of the layer I was on will disappear, and the emphasis will jump to "primaries" as I understand it.

Was there some idea on the part of the program's author to auto-switch to "primaries" if I switch to another version?
Is it possible to make it so that the emphasis doesn't reset when I switch to another version? Maybe there is some option in the settings?

Check the gear menu, lower right corner.
There‘s a setting called ‚keep layer selected‘.
Also another setting keeping a layer with a certain name selected is there as an alternative.

Cheers,

Yes, that's the first option right there, too. Thank you very much,
Mazze.
