Error editing "rules of membership" (new release)

1. "manage groups"
2. Select group with attribute "public"
2.1 Make sure that "Make group public"is checked.
3. Edit "rule"
4. Make or do not make make any changes to "rule"
5. Click "CANCEL" -------->>>> PROBLEM
6. Attribute "Make group public" is now unchecked.
