Greetings!!   

We can't wait for Summer 2026!     

Badges at Barton will return for its 5th Summer at Camp Barton 

2026 will mark Camp Barton's 104th summer of operations, and our 99th summer at Frontenac Point. If you haven't joined us before - Camp Barton is located in the Finger Lakes Region of Central/Upstate New York on the west shore of Cayuga Lake just 2 miles north of our original home -Taughannock State Park.       

Frontenac Point is currently owned by the New York State Department of Parks, Recreation, and Historic Preservation and is operated by the Three Falls Local Development Corporation.    

The Baden-Powell Council, Scouting America - former owners of the property at Frontenac Point, have partnered with NYS & the Three Falls LDC to ensure that Scouting opportunities continue at the future state park. 

The Camp Barton Staff Alumni Association, composed of Camp Barton Staff Alumni, Unit Leader Alumni, & Local Professionals developed the Badges at Barton program in 2022 and continues to administrate, plan, and execute its operations.     

Badges at Barton is a unique short-term camping program that combines a merit badge academy, with high adventure & specialty weekend programs along with over 20 on-demand programs unique to Camp Barton. 

We certainly hope you will consider joining us for this outstanding, unique, and worthwhile experience! 

The Camp Barton Staff Alumni Association's Program Committee is eager to provide details and we thank you in advance for your patience as we thoroughly review and plan out 2026. Program information will be rolling out along with registration details, and plans for the upcoming summer throughout the next several months.
