More than 100 guests came together for an evening of fun, fellowship, and philanthropy — raising over $30,000 to support Scouting programs across our region. REGISTRATION FOR THE TREK-O-REE & HIKE-O-REE ARE NOW OPEN!   The Trek-O-Ree is a weekend event featuring a revamped program from last year at Durland Scout Reservation. Troops are encouraged to invite Webelos dens from the Hike-o-ree to stay and camp on Saturday night. Trek-O-Ree Registration Here   The Hike-O-Ree is a day event on November 8th for Webelos & Arrow of Light Scouts, allowing them to fulfill certain rank and advancement requirements while observing Scouts participating in the Trek-o-ree. Join us on January 24th at James Baird State Park for the 2026 Eskimo Run!!   The Eskimo Run is a competitive activity open to Bears, Webelos, and Arrow of Light Scouts. The Webelos activity is similar to the Scout BSA Klondike Derby where they will navigate between stations staffed by local troops; some may start and end at different stations. Participants will be asked to answer questions, demonstrate their skills, and participate in a wide range of activities. More details can be found on the event page. Patch Design Competition, Winter Wonderland

Design the Special Edition America 250 Greater Hudson Valley Council Shoulder Patch! Are you a creative Scout with a passion for design? Do you want to leave your mark on Scouting in the Hudson Valley? Here’s your chance! We are excited to announce the Special Edition Council Shoulder Patch (CSP) Design Contest, where Scouts and Scouters like you can submit their artwork for the next official Greater Hudson Valley Shoulder Patch. Find all Patch Design Contest information here! The Results Are In!🍿 Over $139,000 has been raised directly for our GHV Units! 36 Scouts made it to the Winner's Circle! Congratulations!! Congratulations to our top Scouts BSA & Cub Scout sellers, Madoc C and Jayden G! This is Jayden's 4th year in a row in the #1 spot and Madoc's 2nd. Great job!!

Jamboree Contingent Troops Are Set! Great news! The Greater Hudson Valley Council is sending Two 40-person boy troops and one 20-person girl troop! We have limited spaces left, once they're filled you will be put on a waitlist.

Thousands of Scouts from across the country will gather for a week filled with challenge, friendship, and fun. The Greater Hudson Valley Council is thrilled to bring back our Holiday Council Shoulder Patches (CSPs) — and this year, there are THREE festive designs to collect! ✨ Donate $20 for one patch of your choosing 🎄 Or donate $40 for the complete set Your donation helps make camp possible — all proceeds go directly toward Summer Camp Scholarships, giving more Scouts the opportunity to experience the adventure, friendship, and growth that camp provides. Patches will begin mailing out in December. When donating, please note in the comments which patch(s) you’d like: The Whole Set, Christmas, Hanukkah, or New Year’s.
