Personal Management Merit Badge

All,

Last week we worked on the Personal Management merit badge.  Between that session and the 2nd session scheduled in Nov., we will finish all the classwork.  The remaining requirements that need to be completed outside of class are listed below.  I've attached the merit badge workbook and a spreadsheet to help with the budget requirement (#2). I am the merit badge counselor so feel free to have your Scout reach out to me with any questions or to pass off these requirements.

1 (a, b, & c) - Strategy for a personal for family purchase

2 (a & b) - Develop a budget and track expenses for 13 consecutive weeks.

- You can use the budget template in the workbook or use the attached spreadsheet

8 (a, b, c & d) - Write a "to do" list of tasks and follow the schedule for 1 week

9 (a, b, c, d & e) - Prepare a written project plan

10 (a & b) - Research a career
