Upcoming Activities for Troop 763 & Tuscany Deacons Quorum (Week of Feb 4th, 2019)

Hi families!
Reese Dixon has invited all the current Deacons to have a game night at his house this Friday Feb 8th, 7pm to 9pm. The boys should eat dinner beforehand but snacks will be provided. Feel free to bring board games/card games to play too.

Also, if your boy is going on the Yurt Snowshoeing Camping on the 15th/16th, please provide $10 to Tanner Duncan to help cover the remaining snowshoe rental fee. Let us know if you have any questions as well.

This Week:
  • Thur Feb 7th
    • 6pm - Basketball practice at the Church.
    • 7pm - Personal Management & Family Life Merit Badges Kick-Off.
  • Fri Feb 8th - Game night (not video games) at Reese Dixon's house. 7pmn-9pm.
  • Sat Feb 9th - Basketball game. 9am (please arrive 15 minutes early) at the Church building.
Next week +:
  • Thur Feb 14th - Pack Check
  • Fri/Sat Feb 15th-16th - Yurt Campout (see below)
  • Thur Feb 21st - Court of Honor
  • Thur Feb 28th - Combined Activity
  • June 27th-29thWard Youth Conference. More details to be announced. Location: Wolthius' Ranch, 33145 Hwy 9, Hartsel, CO 80449
  • July 17th-20thScout/High Adventure camp. The boys will be 'selling flags' again this year to raise money for camp.

Yurt Snowshoe Camping Details: Yurt + Snowshoes + Snow + 2/15/2019 = Awesome
  • We are doing this activity INSTEAD of the Centennial District Klondike campout.
  • Yurt has been reserved! If fathers would like to join us, please let us know ASAP so that we can plan appropriately!
  • Arrive Friday Feb 15th. It will take about 2.5 hours(ish) to drive to the location.
  • Snowshoeing and playing in the snow on Saturday Feb 16th.
  • We are covering part of the snowshoe rental, but asking parents to cover the additional $10 per boy. Please reach out to Tanner Duncan and/or Jon Chartrand if you have questions or concerns about the cost.
