This week is a slow week at the blog with the Thanksgiving Holiday
upon us.
Scott L posted an entry about the First Thanksgiving and about the
misunderstandings that have been taught to the American people. In
the entry, Scott points out, however, there are some real lessons to
be learned from the story of the Pilgrims in Massachusetts and their
survival in the New World. In the comments sections, Wardo has
already posted George Washington's Thanksgiving Proclamation and Scott
J. has posted Abraham Lincoln's.
To see the lessons we need to learn from the real story of the First
Thanksgiving, go to the blog at
scottvscott.blogspot.com.
While the blog focuses on disagreement between conservatives and
liberals, remember that America is one of the few places in the world
that celebrates our political differences - something we should all
remember to be thankful for this season.
See you at the blog,
Scott L.
