Today at Conservative Scott versus Liberal Scott

Returning from some time away from the blog, Scott J enters a new post
entitled "Is Texas Synonymous With Today's Conservatism?" In the
entry, Scott argues that Texas' new stance on social studies textbook
standards is a dangerous for the country's education of its children.
By removing Thomas Jefferson from the acceptable World History
curriculum and elevating Jefferson Davis in the Unites States
curriculum, the Texas school board dangerously moves closer to
censorship and the development of the "proper state curriculum."
