After a brief chat with Barry I thought I would ask if there would be
people interested in a talk on jQuery, the lightweight javascript
library that is taking the net by storm. It would be my first talk and
it is something that I feel could be of use to people, especially
since Microsoft plan to include it along side ASP.NET AJAX.

Thanks,
Andy

Yes, that sounds like an excellent idea.

Sounds interesting, where it would take place?

Where would you like it to take place?

We hold regular events in Dundee and Glasgow. We don't have a venue in Edinburgh, but if there is sufficient interest we can work something out.

Regards,
Colin.

I'ld go along too.  I would prefer Glasgow, but I don't mind travelling to Edinburgh if I really have to

Wow, thanks for the replies so far very encouraging so I will go ahead
and get one prepared.

I am flexible in terms of venue so I am sure we can find a location
that suits most people (hopefully).

Same here, prefer Glasgow, but can make Edinburgh or Stirling if I must, but I'd prefer something close to the station in that case :-)

Craig.

So, of those that expressed a preferences we have:

2: Glasgow

2: Edinburgh (+2 as an alternative choice)

0: Stirling (+1 as an alternative choice)

In that case I’ll look at getting a venue in Edinburgh (close to the station). Failing that we’ll look at Glasgow.

In the meantime you can always check out other events happing in Scotland:

+1 for me too. In Dundee, just make things more complicated ;-)

Cheers
