Hey you lovely people,
Autumn is firmly here, with the equinox past, and the temperature hanging around the low teens. So: let's get together again and chat about more Ruby things.
After Colin's talk on replacing React with the Hotwire stack (and he promises to share the slides soon!), we're going to pivot to the programming topic du jour: LLMs. The kind folks of RubyNess (
https://rubyness.co.uk/) have pulled the speakers together for this one
Gavin Morrice is going to demonstrate the building of one in Ruby, to help explain how they work. And then Sergey Sergyenko is going to talk about how to use one from within Ruby.
Bring your laptops too! Some time to share your current programming set up and tools. We'll have pizza in our lovely venue, both provided by FreeAgent (
https://freeagent.com). And afterwards? A mooch to the pub to socialise some more.
When: 18:00 Thursday, October 9th
If this is your first time, welcome along! If you're back for more, bring a first timer with you!
Chat to you lovely people then,
James
