As you might already know, I'm running a wee all-of-industry tech conference in Edinburgh on Friday the 31st of May 2013 over at Summerhall and TechCube. I've posted to the list about it before, but I figured it was long past time I posted an update on how things are.
What's Converge about? Well, think of it a bit like a 'choose your own adventure' conference - there will be great speakers giving fantastic talks, but there will also be workshops and panel discussions happening. If you don't fancy a particular talk, you can take part in a workshop, none of the workshops take your fancy? Go see a talk or even start your own.
It's got some great speakers, locally and from further afield:
- Morna Simpson
- Bruce Scharlau
- Emily Coltman
- Rich Quick
- TJ Sheehy
- Steven Baker
- Milly Bancroft
- Jason Frame
- Rachel Andrew
- Sarah Drummond
Of course, the most important part of Converge are the attendees, who also will be contributing in a really meaningful way to the structure and makeup of the conference, the goal is to attract everyone from the tech industry to attend for the best single-day conference they've seen in a while.
I've also just extended our Early Bird by a few more tickets, so if you were still in two minds of going, now's the best time. You can skip straight to EventBrite for the tickets at

I really hope to see all of you there in May!
Cheers,
