Hi Francis, thanks for the kind email.
Whilst you might be behind us technologically; I'm not convinced that
the gap is as large as you might think. Whilst we're privileged in the
UK and Scotland at having ready access to the Internet and the world of
information it brings, we suffer because the technologies are on the
whole not well understood by the vast majority.
Educating the people of Scotland and the UK on the use of technology is
an uphill battle we face daily and is a problem we doubtless share with
Malawi. Helping people make the right technology choices to best
fulfill their social and economic needs is a problem where ever you are.
So we are equally interested to learn from YOU and your uses of
technology. As 'necessity is the mother of invention' we're just as
interested in how YOU are inventing new ways of applying old and
existing technologies to the challenges we face.
Anyway, I'm happy to help in anyway I can.
