Dear all,

The remaining medical kit bags from Malawi have arrived in the post. If your practice has not yet received one of these large cloth bags, Sylvester and I will distribute one to you next week or you can arrange to collect it from me.

The bags were made by visually impaired workers at the Bangwe Weaving Centre and are intended as a gift from each clinic link to their twin. Most practices have chosen to fill the bag with lightweight items such as plastic gloves, suture packs, ear torches and thermometers but you are not obliged to send anything. The Malawi clinics might send locally produced items such as fair-trade tea or coffee.

A reminder also that we still have space in the timetable for Sylvester's visit next week if you would like to have a friendly visit from our Malawian colleague.

Get in touch if you want to find out more,

Jemma
