Hi all,

I reckon that the ban on smoking in public places is one of the landmark changes to have taken places for Scottish healthcare workers and I think we should share the debate with our Malawian friends. An authoritative voice would be best.

Would someone like to write a short post to this email (and then the blog with my help) on changing attitudes to smoking in Scotland, the reduction in passive smoking in pubs/ clubs, pros and cons for the ban etc? A couple of lines would be sufficient. Perhaps a smoker or, better still, someone that has recently given up would like to contribute? It can be anonymous.

If I don't get any volunteers, I will nominate a clinic and will do the same for other topics. You have been warned!

Thanks,

Jemma

Hi JN
Great idea. If no one volunteers I'll do a piece but obviously it is much better if one of the other clinics does.
