I had hoped the ban on private sector DB transfers would end the scandal of so-called "enhanced" TV exercises but it looks like this will continue.

On 21 July 2014, HM Treasury announced that it will continue to allow transfers from private sector DB pension schemes. Will this decision result in more transfers from DB schemes?
