My apologies if this is a repeat, but my system said that delivery failed.   Cheers.   Ronnie

Hi - please excuse the rather short notice, but I'm running in The Seven Hills of Edinburgh Challenge this weekend, on Sunday 22 June, and am seeking sponsorship on behalf of SportsAid Scotland, a charity of which I'm Chairman of Trustees.  We provide financial grants to aspiring young Scottish athletes in the 12-22 year age-group, and gave support to many of the Glasgow 2014 team in their early days.

The heading for this email stems from the extreme contrast between the 200 yards for which I carried the Queen's Baton last weekend and the 14.3 mile (and 2,200 feet of ascent/descent) Seven Hills of Edinburgh run, both of which are featured on my fundraising page at https://www.justgiving.com/RonnieSloan747 where everything is explained more fully.  Those of you familiar with JustGiving.com will know how easy it is to donate sponsorship online, and which thereby automatically also collects the 25% Gift Aid tax uplift for our charity.

However, if you wish to use a Charity Voucher, or simply to donate by cheque, then please send these to me at:-

In case you've not yet twigged the significance of the 747, you'll find out from my JustGiving page.  And you can find further info on the Seven Hills run at http://www.seven-hills.org.uk/ and about our charity at http://www.sportsaidscotland.org.uk/ .

SportsAid Scotland really is a very important charity, being the only one that gives financial support direct to young athletes, of whom we help some 250 every year with grants averaging £1,000 each.  So, I would be most grateful if you would please consider sponsoring me for my 'ridiculous' effort this weekend!

Many thanks in anticipation.   Yours aye.   Ronnie Sloan
