Title: Senior Network Engineer with Finaicial exp

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Implementation: Lead the design and implementation of a new market data connectivity infrastructure using Cisco equipment, ensuring high availability, low latency, and scalability.
- Network Architecture: Develop and maintain network architecture diagrams, documentation, and standards to support the market data infrastructure.
- Configuration and Optimization: Configure and optimize Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Troubleshooting and Support: Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for network-related issues, including root cause analysis and resolution.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other engineering teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and operation of the market data infrastructure.
- Security: Implement and maintain network security measures to protect data integrity and prevent unauthorized access.
- Monitoring and Reporting: Set up and manage network monitoring tools to proactively identify and address potential issues. Generate regular reports on network performance and health.
- Compliance: Ensure that the network infrastructure complies with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior network engineers and other team members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE) are highly desirable.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on Cisco equipment and market data connectivity.
- Proficiency in configuring and managing Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Strong understanding of network protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, etc.) and technologies (MPLS, VPN, QoS, etc.).
- Experience with network monitoring and management tools (e.g., Cisco Prime, SolarWinds, etc.).
- Knowledge of market data systems and financial trading environments is a plus.
Title: Nutanix Kubernetes Platform Engineer
Location : Remote
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Platform Engineer to join our team. This will support a migration from TKGI (Tanzu Kubernetes Grid Integrated Edition) to NKP (Nutanix Kubernetes Platform). The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Tanzu Kubernetes Grid (TKGI) and related CNCF projects. This role involves configuring, coding, and setting policies for Kubernetes components to ensure they are consumable services for developers.
Responsibilities:
- Configure and manage Kubernetes clusters and related CNCF projects.
- Develop and implement policies via code to streamline Kubernetes operations.
- Integrate messaging bus components such as Kafka and JMS into the platform.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure seamless consumption of services.
- Automate lifecycle management of virtual machines, including builds, patching, monitoring, backups, and decommissioning.
- Interface with CMDB, SolarWinds, and other components used to run the IaaS platform.
Skills Required:
- Extensive experience with Tanzu Kubernetes Grid Integrated Edition (TKGI) and CNCF projects.
- Proficiency in coding and policy setting for Kubernetes components.
- Knowledge of Kafka, JMS, and other messaging bus components.
- Strong automation skills for IaaS platforms.
- Familiarity Ansible, Terraform, Python, and PowerShell.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Nutanix clusters and NKP.
- Experience with Puppet and Chef
- Ability to work collaboratively with developers and infrastructure teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
