PCF Architect with minimum 10+ years of experience in architecting, designing, & developing cloud delivery models and cloud platform solutions.
· Extensive experience in developing and implementing custom applications using Java/J2EE and Open Source technologies - Spring Core, Spring Boot, Hibernate, databases (any one Oracle / MS SQL/ PostgreSQL / MySql), webservices – REST/SOAP, MicroServices and Java Design Patterns.
· Good working knowledge on Gradle/Maven and Junit tools.
· In-depth knowledge of a few but familiarity with:
- UI Frameworks such as NodeJS, AngularJS etc
- Web Application Servers like Weblogic, JBoss, Tomcat etc.
- Any one NoSQL database like Mongo DB, Gemfire etc.
- Knowledge of Open Source technologies and tools like Jira, Jenkins, databases (MySQL, MongoDB), VCS (GIT, Mercurial, etc.), Hudson
- Scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, Python, JavaScript, JQuery, Ruby, Perl
- Supporting CI/CD process flows with Jenkins/Hudson
· Must have hands-on experience with Agile development methodologies and designing, implementing.
· Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.

High Level Roles and Responsibilities:
· Participate actively in Cloud Foundry business discussion to understand the business goals and advise as required
· Accountable for architecting, designing, & developing cloud delivery models and cloud platform solutions per Boston Scientific’s future vision and business plans
· Identify and operationalize best container management and orchestration solutions to fit Boston Scientific’s workloads
· Perform service delivery platform benchmarks and develop framework for cloud implementations
· Define and oversee Application migration initiatives and recommend best fit cloud strategy for Boston Scientific’s applications – Private, Public and Hybrid models.
· Gather requirements, topology information and deployment details as inputs to virtualize and containerize various applications.
· Partner with infrastructure operations, platform optimization, and datacenter operation teams to scope, define, size and execute application onboarding, migration & consolidation initiatives
· Develop a Cloud Migration tools framework which can be consumed by various Lines of Businesses within Boston Scientific.
· Create a dynamic capacity monitoring and allocation solution for Boston Scientific’s PaaS and perform capacity planning and forecasting for cloud.
· Create and document cloud deployment architectures as needed to maintain up-to-date details on existing infrastructure.
· Design security framework for implementing cloud solutions on Public Cloud
