Hi C2SI team,

I'm Omdeep Borkar, a 2nd-year IT student at Goa College of Engineering, Goa, India.

I'm interested in contributing to the GDB-UI project for GSoC 2026. I've forked the repo, got the full stack running locally via docker-compose, and have been reading through gdbui_server/main.py to understand how GDB MI commands are bridged to the React frontend over WebSockets.

Relevant experience:

- Shipped NIKAME on PyPI — a framework that auto-generates Kubernetes and Helm stacks
- Production WebSocket backends with FastAPI and async I/O
- Docker and docker-compose multi-service deployments
- GitHub Actions CI/CD with automated testing and container scanning
